THE HOUSE
is situated on the Dingle Peninsula in the very south- west of the Republic of Ireland/County Kerry beside the small village of Ballincolla (gaelic: Baile an Chala). English and Gaelic are the common languages.It was freshly renovated in 1999.
It´s a single storey house with 5 rooms (around 140 square yards), 3 three of them are used as bedrooms (1x double bed, 2x2 single beds), 2 living- rooms, kitchen, bathroom with bath tub and integrated shower and wc and a storage room. Towels available.
In both living rooms there are open fire places, there is oil- central heating . The kitchen is equipped with oven, fridge, lots of kitchen equipment and all other necessary equipment.
Bed lining, washing machine and Tv set is installed There`s no phone, but mobile phones are working well. Ask your provider for details. We provide two brandnew tour bicycles to discover the area at small extra cost.

Many marked walking ways in the Slieve Mish Mountains and to the highest mountain of Ireland (Mt. Brandon 3277 ft.)
Day trips to Tralee, Killarney and Limerick and to the"Ring of Kerry".

Shopping
One can find general necessities (and pubs) in Ballyferriter (3mls) and a lot of good shops in Dingle (10 mls).

Coming to Ireland / Distances to the Airports:
Shannon Airport (near Limerick): Around 120 mls (2,5h driving)
Kerry County Airport (near Killarney): Around 60mls (1,5h driving)
Cork Airport: Around 120 mls (2,5h driving)
Dublin Airport: Around 300 mls (6,5h driving).
To the ferry ports: Cork s.a., Rosslare Harbour: Around 260 mls (5,5h driving).

The prices
The rates are excluding extras 410,- € a week. In the low season (15.9.- 15.4., except christmas/new years eve) 280,00 € a week. Check in/out on saturdays, if necessary also other days possible.

Extras:
Electricity is charged by units, around 5,- - 7,- € a week.
Final cleaning service is 50,00 €.
15% of the weekly price in cash is required in Ireland, also the charges for electricity and final cleaning fee.
